Lamplight Lounge – Boardwalk Dining is also featuring a seasonal menu with the new Braised Beef Poutine.

Braised Beef Poutine – $24

Steak Fries, Braised Beef, Cheese Curds, Beef Gravy, and Tomatillo-Serrano Salsa, garnished with Fresno Chiles

This is another only okay braised beef special. The hefty amount of moisture from the beef makes the fries soggy, and everything runs together to become a one-note song of flavor.

Even the little sliced chilies seem overtaken by the heavy fried foods and fatty beef.

As with the special within Lamplight Lounge proper, this is only okay, and it feels like a waste of both money and appetite to get something that is more expensive and less enjoyable than many of the other entries on the standing menu.

The holiday season at Disneyland runs from November 11 through January 8.
