After all these storms we’ve seen in California, I bet you thought it was finally safe to go back in the water. Well, if you’re swimming up to Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar at the Disneyland Hotel, watch those waters for piranhas! There’s a new edition of the piranha tiki mug available now at the beloved bar.

Piranha Pool with Souvenir Piranha Tiki Mug – $46

Just like when it was first introduced in 2018, this mug is available with the Piranha Pool drink — a Stoli Strasberi vodka blended with pineapple juice, cream of coconut, strawberry puree, and Blue Curacao.

The original mug was a light green when it was introduced in 2018, making it nearly five years have passed since this mug was refreshed. This new version is half gray, half copper-orange.

The underside is almost entirely copper colored, with some grays thrown in where shadows would be appropriate.

The opening of the cup is, of course, its gaping maw, jagged with the man-eating fish’s teeth.

It’s almost like he’s ready to eat you alive when you take a sip.

The bottom notes this is the second edition, although that may be inaccurate as for D23 Expo 2019, guests were able to purchase a golden version exclusively at Trader Sam’s for that weekend only. Nonetheless, a refresh is still welcomed after five years.

We’ve seen plenty of new tiki mugs around these past few months. Just last week we saw a refresh of the HippopotoMai-Tai mug, last month saw the addition of a José-themed mug from The Enchanted Tiki Room, and back in October the Zombie mug was refreshed.
