Taro milk tea is an incredibly popular drink, found in most East Asian countries. For the 2023 Lunar New Year Festival, those flavors that are loved by many have been brought to Disney, in the form of a cheesecake that can be found at Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta.

Milk tea cheesecake with a taro mousse
This was delicious! It has a very taro-forward flavor, which is wonderful. Taro is usually so subdued and mellow in sweet treats like this, but this one presents it front and center as the main flavor. It’s quite vibrant, with an almost tropical twang to it.
The cheesecake itself is sweet and almost caramel-flavored, and provides a base for the extra potent taro cream on top.
We thoroughly enjoyed this and can’t wait to have it again!
The Lunar New Year festival is running from January 20 through February 15, 2023.
