Almond Cookie Churro coated in cookie crumble and topped with almond icing
This isn’t that much different than a traditional churro. The flavor of the cookie is so similar to the flavor of the churro that it’s hard to distinguish.
The little drizzle of icing does bring a pop of sweetness, with maybe a touch of almond flavor. But for the most part, it just tastes like an extra crunchy churro.
We didn’t like it that much, but there’s just nothing to really set it apart from the norm.
If you’re someone who isn’t too adventurous in your cuisine but still want to say that you tried something for Lunar New Year, this is a safe choice.
The Lunar New Year festival is running from January 20 through February 15, 2023.
