The update reads “Park Hours Update:” followed by “Due to inclement weather, Disneyland Park will be closing at 11 pm tonight. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Poor conditions have already forced the cancellation of the first performance since 2020 of”Magic Happens” today as well as “Fantasmic!” at the park. “World of Color — One” was also cancelled today over at Disney California Adventure, which was already scheduled to close at 10:00p.m. Disneyland Park was originally scheduled to be open until midnight.

A quick glance at the calendar reveals Disneyland has also cut its hours for tomorrow, February 25. The park will also close at 11:00p.m. instead of midnight.

The last early closure for inclement weather was during the bomb cyclone on January 5. Even during heavy rain, Disneyland still remained open until 11:00p.m. instead of midnight.

The Weather Channel forecasts that in the Anaheim area it will rain all day today, and winds are gusting in excess of 20mph, an unsafe level for shows even without the rain. The rain is set to continue tomorrow, although winds will be at a much more manageable 8mph most of the day.

“Wondrous Journeys” is still set to be presented with fireworks tonight at 9:30p.m., although this will likely change to projections only if these weather conditions continue as predicted. Wait times are low across the park, with some outdoor attractions like Radiator Springs Racers and Alice in Wonderland closed, while others like Autopia, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Matterhorn Bobsleds remain operating.

Will this affect your plans to stay out late at Disneyland tonight? Let us know in the comments below.
