Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes Rides Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disneyland, Says It’s ‘Not a Kids’ Ride’

After his big win with the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday night, Super Bowl LVII MVP Patrick Mahomes was just on a whirlwind tour around Los Angeles, even getting his own parade at Disneyland on Monday afternoon! During his appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Monday night, we learned about the rest of his time at Disneyland, including thoughts on the park’s newest ride.

After Mahomes’ grand cavalcade at Disneyland to celebrate his team’s win during Super Bowl LVII, he remarked that his daughter “took a while to get comfortable” at the park. Then “all of a sudden after one ride… she wanted to ride every ride,” and she was very upset to leave Disneyland. Kimmel asked what ride they got to do as a family, and it turns out they were able to experience the newly-opened Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.

Mahomes noted “It was pretty crazy, it caught me by surprise a couple of times. I thought it was like a kids ride how it’s set up, suddenly I’m flying all over the place like ‘how do y’all let little kids on this ride?'”

Considering Mahomes’ NFL career, it’s rather amusing that even he found Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway to be a rough experience. Certain scenes on the ride do have a reputation for being a bit violent, particularly the conga scene in Daisy’s dance studio.

Mahomes’ full interview on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” is available above.
