Fresh, glazed donuts topped with chocolate cookie crumble, with vanilla and chocolate crème cookie dipping sauce
These are fantastic donuts, as always.
Cookies and cream is a classic flavor. It’s simple enough to really come across when paired with the donut base.
The thick and creamy dipping sauce is a wonderful compliment. It adds sweet to sweet, but at no point does it become overpowering. Besides, you know what you’re getting into when ordering donuts with dipping cream.
It’s a pleasant experience all the way through. Whether you order these as a standalone treat or as a grand finale to a spectacular meal, you won’t be disappointed.
Lamplight Lounge Food & Wine Cocktail – $18.00
Gin, elderflower liqueur, peach, basil simple syrup, lemon, blue curaçao, and fresh basil
This is a very complex cocktail with layers of flavor unfolding with each sip. The immediate pop of sweetness from the peach comes to the forefront before melting to a gin spirit note that is perfectly present but not overpowering and finishing with the tartness of the lemon and herbaceousness of the basil.
This is a great cocktail for sitting and sipping in the warm spring sun, on the balcony overlooking Paradise Bay. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely try it again. The drink is also available at Lamplight Lounge – Boardwalk Dining.
The 2023 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival will be running from March 3 to April 25, 2023.
