The 2023 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival has officially kicked off and we’re ready to start digging into all of the new, yummy food. Let’s head over to I (Heart) Artichokes, where a new Artichoke Pizzetta has been added to the menu.

Artichoke & Roasted Garlic Cream Cheese with Sun-dried Tomatoes, Pickled Onions and Lemon Olive Oil-drizzled Micro Greens
This is fantastic. The crust is a bit thicker than the beet flatbread at Golden Dreams. The slightly roasted artichokes are wonderfully prepared, and the pickled onions and cheese spread adds a perfect amount of kick. If you heart artichokes like we do, you’ll love this.
Artichoke Toast with Olive Tapenade – $6.75
Toasted Sliced Baguette with Artichoke Cream Cheese, topped with Olive & Artichoke Tapenade and drizzled with Olive Oil
We loved the artichoke toast and would probably eat it again! It’s one of the biggest portions for the price throughout the entire festival.
The toast was crisp and crunchy on the outside while still soft on the inside. The only complaint we have is that there was too much olive tapenade on top.
Passion Fruit Rum Cocktail – $16.00
White Rum, Italian Amaro, Passion Fruit Nectar, Orange & Lime Juices and Guava Purée, garnished with an Orange Wedge
This drink is heavy on the passion fruit flavor, which is exceptional, but the taste of the rum is nearly lost. It’s cool, sweet, refreshing, and straightforward.
The passion fruit overpowers the other flavors. It’s not an unpleasant drink, but it’s not what we were looking forward to when we read the menu description.
