Considering it’s an incredibly versatile fruit (yes, it’s a fruit), this naturally pairs well with other plant-based food. Cheddar Mac featuring Seasoned Impossible Ground Beef, Tomatoes, Olives, Jalapeños and Guacamole
This is where Impossible can really shine. The “beef” is perfectly integrated into a dish with great flavors. With all that’s in this, we couldn’t tell that this wasn’t ground beef. For the portion size, it’s an exceptional value, though that may change as the festival presses on.

Al Pastor Taco featuring Impossible Pork with Grilled Pineapple and Avocado-Tomatillo Sauce
On the other hand, this was bad. Calling it al pastor is a scam to get you to buy it. It tastes more like spicy chorizo than al pastor pork. The amount of pineapple is excessive and overpowering. Even worse, it’s a tiny portion. It doesn’t make sense that this costs more than the far-heartier mac & cheese. This is a hard pass.

The flavor of lavender is very powerful here, but not in a bad way. If you like lavender, you’ll love this non-alcoholic offering.
