New Costumes for Mickey and Minnie

Mickey and Minnie Mouse will be sporting a wicked new look for the upcoming scary season. Featuring a black and orange color palette, Mickey Mouse wears a top hat with a bat bowtie and a dapper vest with a spooky swirl. He’s looking quite fancy in a full suit, with a cape flourishing behind him.

Minnie Mouse models a new dress spotted with bats. It has thematically matching translucent batwing sleeves and a dramatic collar. Her signature bow also features a bat in front of an orange puffy version of this favorite accessory. Striped stockings and a high heel sporting more bats finish out her outfit.

Last Year’s ‘Homemade’ Costumes

For Halloween time last year in 2022, Mickey and his friends showed off “homemade” costumes at Disneyland Park. Mickey dressed as a jack-o’-lantern, Minnie dressed as a cat, Goofy was a haunted apple tree, and Donald dressed as a piece of candy corn.

With whimsical touches and a patchwork appearance, these costumes were meant to look homemade, as though Mickey and his crew made them all on their own.

Oogie Boogie Bash — A Disney Halloween Party Confirmed for 2023

As part of Disney’s Halfway to Halloween Celebration, Disney has confirmed the return of Oogie Boogie Bash — A Disney Halloween Party at Disney California Adventure Park.

Special treats have been announced for the Halfway to Halloween celebration, too. To take a closer look at the seasonal treats currently available across Disneyland Resort, use this link:

If you’re feeling festive, watch our video trying every single Halloween treat from Disney California Adventure last Halloween season below.

Purchasing admission to the Oogie Boogie Bash — A Disney Halloween Party allows guests to enjoy Disney California Adventure Park for up to three hours before the party begins, so ticketed guests may enter as early as 3:00 p.m. without any additional park tickets or reservations. The party itself runs for five hours, from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with special Halloween-themed entertainment, attractions, character greetings, and more.

Historically, the party has included attractions such as Villains Grove, the Headless Horseman, Frightfully Fun Parade, treat trails, Mickey’s Trick and Treat dance party and photo opportunities. All lands within the park remain open during the Halloween Party, including Avengers Campus.

2023 Halloween Party Cancelled at Disneyland Paris

Meanwhile, Disney has pulled the plug on two different parties at Disneyland Paris. Both the Halloween Party and the New Year’s Party have been cancelled as of last week.

Instead, the resort will offer an “enhanced experience” and extended hours with regular admission on October 31 and December 31.

Last year, the Disneyland Paris Halloween event made its post-COVID return, and was offered as a separate experience from the park’s daily operations on October 29 and October 31. It included access to select attractions, such as Phantom Manor, Big Thunder Mountain, and Pirates of the Caribbean, until 2 a.m. — with 15% discounts provided to guests who purchased their tickets and hotel stay in a package deal.
