With plenty of choices to choose from, it seems like there’s a MagicBand+ for everyone when you visit Disneyland. As we strolled through the Downtown Disney District this week, we spotted several new bands themed to Mickey Mouse, Marvel Comics, and much more. So let’s take a look at all the new MagicBands!
Kakamora MagicBand+ – $44.99
This new Kakamora MagicBand+ is themed after the coconut-like tribe of savage warriors from “Moana.”
The center puck is white and features the Kakamora holding a hammer.
The top and bottom of the band features traditional Polynesian patterns, which originate from the art of tattoos across many Pacific Islander cultures. Flowers, spirals, and geometric prints all make up the design.
Marvel Comics MagicBand+ – $44.99
The classic Marvel Comics looks of iconic superheroes takes the stage on this MagicBand+. The base color of the band is grey.
On the lower band we see comic book versions of Captain America, Thor, and Black Widow.
The center puck shows a retro “Marvel Comics” logo in red and yellow with a starburst behind in the same colors.
The top band shows heads of Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Captain America, and Iron Man. “Marvel Comics Group” is written on the bottom section.
Vintage Mickey Mouse MagicBand+ – $44.99
Oh gosh, we just can’t get enough of the main mouse himself! The band is black-based, and features plenty of Mickey to go around your wrist.
The bottom reads “Mickey & Co” repeated over and over in green cartoonish lettering.
The center puck shows a vintage 1920s-era design of Mickey winking.
On the bottom we see 1930s Mickey waving and talking. He looks pretty excited to be part of the MagicBand!
Retro Mickey & Friends MagicBand+ – $44.99
This retro design features a lilac center with a gradient which transitions to yellow and light blue.
A line art design of a castle sits at the center of the puck, with fireworks surrounding it. The bottom section features Chip, Dale, and Donald Duck.
The top section meanwhile shows Mickey Mouse, Pluto, and Minnie Mouse. They’re all depicted in their 1970s and 80s-esque designs, more often seen in older merchandise from that era. This is a design we see much less of compared to the vintage look, so it’s quite a welcome surprise.
Yoda MagicBand+ – $44.99
This MagicBand+ has an all-over design with a camo green puck at the center.
At the center is a white Jedi Order insignia on a plum-colored background.
The bottom reads “Do. Or do not. There is no try,” a famous quote by Jedi Master Yoda from “Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.”
Yoda is depicted in a flattened comic book style on the top band. Another Jedi Order logo is beneath him.
We found all of these MagicBand+ designs at the World of Disney Store in the Downtown Disney District, except the Kakamora band, which is at the Kingswell Camera Shop in Disney California Adventure. Will you be sporting any of these bands on your next visit? Let us know in the comments below!
