Safety lights revealed only this morning as new additions to the extended queue in Indiana Jones Adventure attraction have been torn down by guests in Disneyland.

Lights Torn Down from Netting

Indiana Jones Adventure previously closed on January 9, 2023 for a much-needed refurbishment. After over two months of work, this attraction at Disneyland is open to guests once again. The ride includes new scenes, and park visitors have been willing to wait in a longer-than-usual line to experience this newly reopened attraction. The ride has a temporarily extended queue to facilitate this rush of guest excitement.

As we waited in line today to take a look at the queue, we spotted a battery-powered safety light was removed from its intended space on the fencing. This location is near the top of the stairs within the extended queue.

The puck light was seated atop the railing instead of attached to the netting below.

This light was previously attached to the rope netting on this queue fence.

The broken zip tie was pinned beneath the disconnected light.

As evidenced by many children volunteering to test it while we were waiting, the light is still perfectly functional.

It took only a few hours for the light to be removed from its original place on the rope net.

We saw another light zip-tied to a storage shed while standing in this line today. Without these puck lights, the queue is very dark once the sun sets.

This one has not been removed by guests, and is also still in working condition. The cabinet itself looks as though it is taking some damage, with multiple scratches and scuff marks visible along the bottom half of the doors.

This safety light is firmly zip-tied to a lock. Additional scuff marks are visible on the cabinet doors here as well.
