We recently discovered two new pairs of Minnie ear headbands inspired by iconic wildlife from “The Lion King” and Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room at Disneyland. The new Minnie ears can be found at Pioneer Mercantile, near the front entrance of Frontierland, directly beside the side entrance to Adventureland and the restrooms.
Let’s take a closer look at these pieces.
‘The Lion King’ Minnie Ear Headband – $34.99
Roar into the African savanna with this new pair of Minnie Mouse Ears featuring Simba and Nala.
These two playful cubs smile at one another atop a puffy Minnie bow set in front of two tribal-patterned ears.
This circular pattern includes the sun imagery from Rafiki’s prophetic drawings and features a bright blue color palette.
The canvas fabric itself adds an additional textural element to the new Lion King-inspired Minnie Ear Headband.
The center sun image is embroidered with a satin stitch using both royal blue and turquoise threading.
Simba and Nala as cubs smile at one another in front of a mint-green background.
The back of the ears has only printed images. There is no embroidery. The back of the bow is unadorned.
The main headband is taupe and covered in the same textured fabric as the ears.
Enchanted Tiki Room Minnie Ear Headband – $34.99
It’s time for a trip into the jungle with these brand new Enchanted Tiki Room Minnie Mouse Ears.
The ears are primarily bright orange with several parrots emblazoned across the ears, and a green patterned bow. A Dole Whip enamel medallion sits in the bow’s center.
The back of the ears features more flowers and a geometric backdrop.
The Dole Whip cup container’s design matches the bow’s fabric pattern.
José sings from his perch decorated with tropical flowers and bamboo wall patterns.
Large pink and white flowers adorn the perches on the left ear.
Pierre is pictured on the back in crimson and navy, perhaps ready to put on the show.
