A “The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad” Disney100 Decades Collection toy set has arrived at Disneyland Park.
Disney100 Decades Collection Mr. Toad and Headless Horseman Toy Set — $49.99
“You’ll find yourself merrily on the way to nowhere in particular when playing with our pull-back Mr. Toad in his manic motorcar, just pull him back and watch him go off on a wild ride. Meanwhile, with a hip-hip and a clippety-clop, the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow is galloping toward a Halloween date with destiny when you wind him up with the included key. These two fabulous characters debuted in tandem as part of Walt Disney’s animated classic The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad.”
The wind-up Mr. Toad actually bounces up and down when moving!
“The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad” was released in 1949, making this a late addition to the 1940s collection. The 1950s collection will be released on Monday, May 15.
Upcoming Disney100 Decades Collections
While the products we can expect to see in upcoming Disney100 collections are largely a surprise, Disney has been kind enough to share teaser images that point to the following productions as being among the upcoming decades. With so many beloved characters debuting between the 1950s and present-day, we’re sure to see many great additions to this list.
- The 1960s — “The Jungle Book” and “101 Dalmatians”
- The 1970s — “The Aristocats” and “The Muppets”
- The 1980s — “Mickey Mouse Club” and “Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers”
- The 1990s — “Darkwing Duck” and “Beauty and the Beast”
- The 2000s — “The Princess and the Frog” and “Bolt”
- The 2010s — “Toy Story 3” and “Frozen”

As previously announced, Disney100 will be celebrated at EPCOT with Mickey and Minnie in their platinum outfits and a platinum Mickey sculpture. A new Spectacle of Light show will debut on Spaceship Earth and, in late 2023, a new nighttime spectacular will premiere to replace “Harmonious.” Journey of Water, CommuniCore Hall, World Celebration Garden, and Dreamers Point are all scheduled to open in late 2023 at EPCOT.
Mirabel will have a meet and greet at Magic Kingdom beginning “this fall” in the Fairytale Garden. She will be replacing Merida, and the area will be redesigned to look like the Casita Madrigal.
The 100 Years of Wonder celebration is in full swing at Disneyland Resort, where guests can enjoy “Wondrous Journeys” at Disneyland and “World of Color – ONE” at Disney California Adventure. The platinum Mickey sculpture at EPCOT will presumably be the same as the one at Disneyland, which had to be fixed because the Walt Disney quote on the base was incorrect. Disneyland also has a platinum Minnie statue.
Disneyland Resort will offer the “Celebrating Disney100 at the Disneyland Resort” guided tour, including a walk through both parks, the drawing experience at Animation Academy, a digital download of a photo taken in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, a Disney100 snack, reserved viewing for “Magic Happens” parade, and a limited-edition pin.
