The movie poster artwork includes “Meeska Mooska,” “The Absent-minded Professor Von Drake,” “The Scroogiest Millionaire,” “Mickey, I Shrunk the Nieces,” “Goofy Friday,” and “Toonsies.” Each of these are fictional films based off of Disney classics.

The El CapiTOON Theater and Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway are both in Mickey’s Toontown at Disneyland, which just reopened to the public last March.

Mickey's Toontown includes attractions for "every single guest."

Reimagined Mickey’s Toontown

Just three months ago, Mickey’s Toontown reopened to the public in Disneyland. On March 19, 2023, after extensive repairs and changes were made to the land, park visitors were able to enjoy an increase in green spaces and quiet areas for guest relaxation and comfort, including additional shaded areas in the land.

It was also designed to be wheelchair accessible and reduce anxiety in children who are sensitive to sensory stimulation. Walt Disney Imagineering consciously made this design effort in order to be considerate and inclusive of “every single guest.”

Iconic structures guests know and love, including Mickey and Minnie’s houses, received fresh paint in slightly toned-down hues. They otherwise remain unchanged. There are also two new dining venues in the land.

At the newly opened Café Daisy, offerings include hot dogs, pizza, and a Spring Garden Wrap. Picnic Time Watermelon Lemonade, Granny Goof’s Garden Sweet Tea, and Specialty Cold Brrr-ew are also available alongside standard fountain drinks and prepackaged water and juices. Check out our review of every item here.

Good Boy! Grocers is the second new venue in the land. It is a farmer’s market-style stand with grab-and-go items, and it replaced Goofy’s Gas Station.

Character meet-and-greets resumed in Mickey’s Toontown, including Mickey and the gang, as well as a very special debut of Pete. One character even received a new costume for the grand reopening.

We did a full walkthrough of the newly reimagined space. Make sure to check out our video below.
