Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular Cast Members Kevin Brassard and Michele Waitman got to attend the Hollywood premiere of “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” this week.
Epic Stunt Spectacular Stars

Brassard joined the Walt Disney World team as a member of the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. But he’s most known for originating the role of Indiana Jones in the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on August 25, 1989. Though Brassard has hung up his hat and whip, he remains part of the stunt show to this day in the role of the Director and trains new Indy stunt performers.

Walt Disney World Resort Ambassador Raevon Redding surprised Brassard with the news that he would be attending the premiere. Watch the video below.
âIf I could tell myself starting with this show more than 30 years ago about today,” Brassard said at the premiere, “first of all, Iâd say strap in, itâs gonna be a wild ride. And youâre gonna love it.”
Waitman is a fellow stunt performer who portrays Marion Ravenwood in the show. The cast of Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular is her family in every sense of the word as her twin sons are also in the show.

On the red carpet, Brassard and Waitman were able to meet the original Indy himself â Harrison Ford.

âWhen I said to him, âIâm the man thatâs been lucky enough to portray Indiana Jones that you created for the past 34 years,â he thanked me,â Kevin said.

Brassard and Waitman got to meet other members of the “Indiana Jones” cast and crew, plus connect with fans.

âWe so appreciate Disney making this huge dream come true,â Kevin said of the opportunity. âWe are so proud to be able to represent the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, and whatâs even more important to us is that both of us feel so supported by the rest of the cast â theyâre so happy weâre here!â
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

âIndiana Jones and the Dial of Destinyâ premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on May 18. It will open in theaters on June 30.
The MPAA rates the movie PG-13. According to their classification, the rating is due to âsequences of violence and action, language and smoking.â While the rating itself doesnât add much to what can be expected in the fifth and final film, it is an interesting reminder that the second film of the franchise, âIndiana Jones and the Temple of Doom,â was a main catalyst (alongside âGremlinsâ) that led the MPAA to create the PG-13 classification in the first place.
âIndiana Jones and the Dial of Destinyâ will take place in 1969, amidst the space race. Indiana Jones will encounter his old enemy, the Nazis, again. Voller is a villain inspired by Wernher von Braun, a real Nazi who became a NASA engineer.
The teaser trailer and artwork for the film debuted in December. A second teaser for âIndiana Jones and the Dial of Destinyâ premiered during Super Bowl LVII.
Harrison Ford, now 80 years old, stated this will be the last âIndiana Jonesâ movie.
Before the filmâs full title was announced, Empire shared behind-the-scenes photos and interviews with the cast last November.
âItâs full of adventure, full of laughs, full of real emotion. And itâs complex and itâs sneaky,â Ford said at the time. âThe shooting of it was tough and long and arduous. But Iâm very happy with the film that we have.â
Itâs rumored that an Indiana Jones TV series could be in development for Disney+. It remains unclear if the storyline of this series would be a prequel to the films, set somewhere inside the franchise narrative, or following a totally new character rather than Henry Jones Jr. If this series is developed, it would not be the first TV show about Indiana Jones. In 1992-1993, âThe Young Indiana Jones Chroniclesâ aired on ABC. Harrison Ford made a cameo appearance in one episode.
