The koi fish-shaped wind turbine has been installed atop Rita’s Turbine Blenders, one of the themed food and beverage locations in San Fransokyo Square at Disney California Adventure.
Rita’s Turbine Blenders

The giant drink dispenser offers slushes and margaritas, which we already reviewed. It was previously known as Rita’s Baja Blenders.

According to the land’s lore, the old fishing net tannery is owned and operated by Rita, a repair technician who maintains the koi fish wind turbine.

The koi fish is orange and yellow to match the building.

There is a fan inside the koi fish. It’s not currently spinning but looks like it will eventually.

Theming of the koi fish’s supports isn’t complete.

The Pacific Wharf re-theme into San Fransokyo Square will be completed by August 31, but dining locations are already opening and reopening.
