Guests (Still) Pooping in Queues for Avatar Flight of Passage, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and Indiana Jones Adventure

Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort are both experiencing the unfortunate “trend” of guests having bowel movements in their most popular ride queues, The Blast reports. According to multiple Reddit posts, the problem is most prevalent in Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Avatar Flight of Passage at Walt Disney World.

We’ve heard about defecation at Flight of Passage before. The problem was so bad, that one section of the queue was dubbed “The Poop Hallway” by Cast Members and Disney had to open mid-queue bathrooms.

“Bodily fluids no longer bother me after working at Disney,” a Cast Member wrote in a r/WaltDisneyWorld Reddit thread titled “The most disturbing thing you’ve seen at the hotels or parks?”

“Let’s just say that the attraction I work at has what the cast ended up dubbing ‘the poop hall’ because of the number of times guests have gone in there and pooped,” they continued. “We even put up a camera and it didn’t stop it.” They confirmed in the replies that they worked at Flight of Passage.

Another Cast Member added, “Good lord the poop hallway […] from a former flight CM this absolutely gives me war flashbacks 😭 I dealt with way too many bodily fluids at that dang attraction, my favorite being when someone would puke on level 2 or 3 and it would drip down”.

The Blast also linked to the Reddit thread “Weird stuff,” which started with the post “I am in the queue for RotR [Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance] – someone let their kid take a dump on the floor and then they just walked out and left it- WTF?”

A user seconded the post, writing, “For the skeptics… this actually happened. Fun fact: this was one of 3 s—t-related incidents at Rise today. Less fun fact: I was here for all 3 of them.”

While both of these posts were about Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort is no stranger to defecation incidents. The Blast points to “Cleaning the Kingdom: Insider Tales of Keeping Walt’s Dream Spotless,” a nook by former Disneyland custodial Cast Members.

The Cast Members shared details of Code H, which was originally a code used to inform custodial workers that a cleanup was needed after one of the Main Street, U.S.A. horses. But a second version of the code, “Human Code H,” became necessary.

According to SFGate, one of the Cast Members writes the following in “Cleaning the Kingdom” about Indiana Jones Adventure:

There’s a pair of individual-use restrooms just backstage from the north unload. It was mainly for cast members, but guests could and did use it. A woman who did not know this burst into the control room for the attraction and deposited her gift right there. … It must have been challenging for the ride operator to stay at their post in there before it was all cleaned up!

If you are in line for a ride and find you need the restroom, please exit and use a restroom, for everyone’s sake.
