REVIEW: Cheesy Blue Orbs Celebrate Life Day 2023 at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland

Ronto Roasters at Black Spire Outpost is serving up “Cheesy Blue Orbs” in honor of Life Day 2023 at Disneyland. Life Day food items are available beginning on November 17, the day Life Day is celebrated, through January 9, 2024.

Life Day, which originates with the infamous “Star Wars Holiday Special,” is celebrated on November 17 each year. It’s technically a Wookiee holiday but has spread across the galaxy to be celebrated by various species and cultures. Batuu gets in on the celebrations each winter with things like food and Magic Shots.

Cheesy Blue Orbs – $5.99

With blue parmesan cheese powder

When it comes to the theming of these, Disney was lazy this year. They’re inspired by the blue glowing Life Day orbs Wookiees display during the holiday, and the blue parmesan might come from Blue Milk.

Thankfully, the treat tastes great. The orbs are basically Brazilian cheese bread, but a bit chewier inside — in a good way — and with much more parmesan.

The parmesan powder adds a salty taste that complements the bread well.

This is a 10/10 and we would get it all the time if it was sold year-round, especially considering it’s relatively cheap for a Disney treat.
