Grandma’s Recipes Marketplace returns to the 2023 Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure with an entirely new menu! With several different wines on offer, along with a Berry Paloma and Barbacoa Tamal de Res, we certainly wished our grandma cooked like this.

*NEW* Barbacoa Tamal de Res – $9
with Oaxaca Cheese, Tomatillo Salsa and Crema
The Barbacoa tamal is exactly what you want in a tamale.
The meat is cooked perfectly — tender and flavorful — and the corn tamale is thick and soft, with a healthy helping of salsa verde.
It does have a tiny bit of a kick, but it’s not intense.
This is an early favorite of ours for this year’s festival.
*NEW* Berry Pomegranate Paloma – $16
Blanco Tequila, Blueberry Purée, Lime, Cranberry, and Pomegranate Juices, and Agave Syrup topped with Fresca mixed Vodka Spritz and garnished with an Orange Wheel and Chile Lime seasoned rim
The Paloma is a little sweet from the blueberry, and you can definitely taste the tequila.
We preferred sipping with the tajín and chamoy on the rim, rather than through the straw. The extra flavor from the tajín is needed.
This is perfect for those who love tequila-based drinks.
The Festival of Holidays will be running at Disney California Adventure from November 10, 2023, to January 7, 2024.
