A new menu item has arrived in San Fransokyo Square at Disney California Adventure, which reminds us of a similar snack from Tokyo DisneySea — the Gyoza Sausage Bun!

You can find it at the Port of San Fransokyo Cervecería, which was previously a dessert window before transforming as part of San Fransokyo Square.

The similar snack in question from Tokyo DisneySea is none other than the Gyoza Dog, which can be found at Nautilus Galley in the Mysterious Island section of the park for ¥600.

The bun comes wrapped in a bag closed with a Baymax sticker.

This is a delicious new snack from the Cervecería! It’s essentially a giant bao bun with ground pork sausage inside, and comes with a side of chili-soy sauce for dipping.

The bun is super soft and contains all the flavors you could ask for from gyoza.

It gives us Din Tai Fung vibes (maybe not as good, but it’s close!). We think this is better than the bao buns at Tropical Hideaway at Disneyland Park.

The chili-soy sauce enhances the dish, and we also found it to be pretty spicy for a snack at Disney California Adventure. We wouldn’t put too much of this dipping sauce on your bun at once.

Ours was hot enough to burn our hands when we ordered and received it, so be aware of that if you decide to try it for yourself.
