Last Magic Key-Exclusive Haunted Mansion Trading Card Featuring Eleanor Audley as Madame Leota Now Available

The fourth Magic Key-exclusive Haunted Mansion trading card is now available. This series of cards honors Cast Members and the Haunted Mansion characters they brought to life. The final card features Eleanor Audley and Madame Leota.

Eleanor Audley & Madame Leota Haunted Mansion Trading Card

Each card in the collection is lenticular, showing one of two different images depending on the angle of the card. The border is inspired by the mansion’s famous purple wallpaper.

This card changes from Eleanor Audley to Madame Leota. Their images are in the center and their names are at the bottom.

On the back of the card is information about the Cast Member and character. Eleanor Audley voiced Madame Leota, although the character was portrayed physically by and named after Leota Toombs. Audley also voiced Lady Tremaine in “Cinderella” and Maleficent in “Sleeping Beauty.”

Audley and Toombs both passed away in 1991. Susanne Blakeslee provides the voice of Madame Leota, Lady Tremaine, and Maleficent in new media. Leota Toombs’ daughter, Kim Irvine, is now an Imagineer and provides physical portrayals of Madame Leota when needed, such as for Haunted Mansion Holiday. Jamie Lee Curtis portrayed Madame Leota in the 2023 “Haunted Mansion” film.

The first three cards in this series featured Thurl Ravenscroft and his singing bust, Paul Frees and the Ghost Host, and X Atencio and the Casket Screamer.

The final Haunted Mansion trading card is available at Disneyana in Disneyland Park through September 28. Are you collecting them all? Let us know in the comments.

The Haunted Mansion

The Haunted Mansion has become one of Disney’s most iconic attractions since its opening at Disneyland in 1969 and on the opening day of Walt Disney World in 1971. A clone of the Walt Disney World attraction opened at Tokyo Disneyland in 1983. The ride serves as inspiration for Phantom Manor at Disneyland Paris and Mystic Manor at Hong Kong Disneyland.

The atmospheric ride strikes a delicate blend between funny and frightening that has charmed generations. The Disneyland version of the attraction received a major addition in 2015 when the Hatbox Ghost, an original effect removed from the ride due to technical difficulties, was re-added.

The Hatbox Ghost is due to debut at the Magic Kingdom version of the Haunted Mansion in late November. The Hatbox Ghost will occupy the Endless Hallway in the Walt Disney World mansion. The ride was recently closed for refurbishment and reopened with a few updates, including a slightly updated look for Madame Leota.

Disneyland recently revealed that they would be expanding the grounds of their Haunted Mansion to include a new gift shop and gardens inspired by various Haunted Mansion characters. The “spirited metamorphosis” will take place next year.

ColourPop Cosmetics recently released a new makeup collection inspired by the live-action “Haunted Mansion” movie.
