The Create Your Own Headband experience from Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is coming soon to Disneyland Resort.
Custom Character Headbands
Guests will mix and match Disney mini plush to create a personalized accessory. The steps, as outlined by Disney, are:
- Step 1 – Choose a headband
- Step 2 – Choose a mini plush accessory or multiple
- Step 3 – Secure plush to headband
The headbands pictured all appear to be black or dark blue.
The experience will be available at The Mad Hatter on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park and at Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff in Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure Park. Disney didn’t announce an opening timeframe beyond “soon” but implied custom headbands would be available for Pixar Fest, which runs from April 26 through August 4.
The available mini character plush include some Pixar characters and classic Disney animated characters:
- Mickey Mouse
- Minnie Mouse
- Donald Duck
- Daisy Duck
- Chip
- Dale
- Winnie the Pooh
- Tigger
- Stitch
- Buzz Lightyear
- Alien
- Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear
Disney shared photos of various custom headband combinations. Two mini plush resemble mouse ears on the headbands.
They also posted a video demonstration on Instagram.
